You know what I’m learning about myself?

I love capturing LOVE!! I always hesitate sharing photos that aren’t of my travels, but you know what? This girl is more than one thing and despite what the experts say about niching down, that won’t be happening around here. 😝 I want my little place on the internet to reflect where my heart is at and that’s with travel + photography (all kinds) and storytelling (in many forms). 

With that being said, I’ve been photographing couples a lot lately (and people in general) and with every couple I find myself thinking “this truly is pure magic,” and “I want to do MORE of this, I want to be BETTER at this.”

It’s such a privilege to witness someone’s love so intimately… for a couple to step in front of your camera and trust that you’ll capture their relationship authentically. I know I have so many concerns when I get my photo taken, so the confidence these couples have in my ability is not lost on me. It is a true honor and one I’m still not sure if I’m worthy of, but I’m committed to getting there.

I want to thank Allison and Michael for allowing me to take their engagement photos. They were so much fun to work with, and game for anything I asked them to do (they even danced in the rain). Their love is so apparent… the way they looked at each other, the kisses off camera and the sweet way they spoke to each other. This is such an exciting time in their lives, and I feel so blessed to have been a small part of it. ❤️
